My approach

Compassionate and evidence-based therapy

Developing a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work.

Clients often tell me they value my warmth, honesty and straightforward approach. I believe therapy works best when we can work together openly, building trust through compassion, curiosity and collaboration.

My aim is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, safe and validated, knowing that you no longer have to carry everything on your own.

Drawing on evidence-based therapies—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Schema Therapy—I tailor each session to suit you rather than expecting you to fit a particular model.

I offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), a specialist evidence-based therapy that can help people process and recover from distressing or traumatic experiences. EMDR is commonly used to support people experiencing trauma, PTSD, and the emotional impact of difficult life events.
